Beautiful stories...

Thirteen Reasons Why Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

My review

rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed this book from the minute I picked it up. A beautifully sad tale of how our actions affect others. We've all done something at one point or another we regret, or maybe not, but this book combines all the horrible things that happened to Hannah or resulted from her inactions to events. Hannah leads the listener around the town describing how each of the 13 listening to the tapes impacted her life and her decision to end it. A lovely story but I'll definitely be reading something more uplifting next. I even teared up at the end...

Newest Vampire Series

So, I love, love, love, the House of Night series! It's a little bit predictable but the last book in the series turns the main protagonist in the right direction. She already had a spine but it really straightens up in the last book - Untamed. I know I'm a little vampire crazed lately but somebody has to be. Really though, I already have a growing fan base so know about it!

Untamed (House of Night, Book 4) Untamed by P.C. Cast

Absolutely loved this book! I couldn't accurately tag this book because it was quite alone amongst the others on my shelf. I would love to see where Lockhart takes Frankie in a sequel but I loved it as a stand alone as well. Maybe I need to add a tag about girl-kicks-butt, that would be more appropriate. Frankie really figures out who she is by showing people that she's not someone to be underestimated.

*somewhat of a spoiler*

My favorite line:
"She will not be simple and sweet. She will not be what people tell her she should be. That Bunny Rabbit is dead."

Love it!
